Job Description

Job Title: Senior Accounts Manager

Job Responsibilities

Advertisement
  • Promote sales of systems and products
  • Manage customer accounts including all related aspects
  • Follow up on instructions by the Head of Sales
  • Be responsible for the overall satisfaction of the customer
  • Schedule and conduct customer meetings
  • Issue customer proposals and conduct weekly follow-up
  • Issue periodic marketing write ups and mail shots
  • Participate in site surveys
  • Submit weekly reports to Head of Sales
  • Submit an annual business plan
  • Conduct market and products research
  • Generate sales leads
  • Create new customer accounts
  • Manage existing customer accounts
  • Maintain high level of product/system knowledge
  • Meet sales targets
  • Present and demonstrate systems / products
  • Conduct road shows and other marketing events
  • Support all customer requirements for his/her accounts
  • Prepare tender responses
  • Building POs BOM and allocate the relevant stock items
  • Maintain updated customers list
  • Manage debt collection for your accounts

Required Professional Experience And Qualifications

  • Minimum of 5 years progressive sales experience performing similar tasks as mentioned above
  • Must have at least 3 years experience in selling wireless equipment to ISPs, Telecos, (experience expanding to the region will be an added advantage)
  • Must have experience in selling systems
  • Have a proven track record handling major accounts (evaluation will be done on 3 key accounts closed and their value)
  • Must have good presentation skills
  • Must have good negotiation skills
  • The preferred candidate should have a background in selling broadband wireless equipment or networks sales experience

Candidates Should Have Advanced Proficiency In

  • MS Excel
  • PowerPoint
  • MS Word

  • Be a team player
