Job Vacancy: Legal Business and Records Coordinator
Job Description
The successful candidate will report to the Manager, Ghana Legal Affairs. She/he will be responsible for the implementation of the running of the Newmont global knowledge management program in Ghana.
Essential Duties:
- Design, develop, implement and maintain taxonomies, classifications and records management work flows in SharePoint for all Ghana Sites
- Support the SharePoint change management, roll out process and assist with the governance of SharePoint in the region
- Help develop, maintain and administer electronic work flows for document management and destruction in the region
- Conduct training sessions for management of physical and electronic records and provide advice on guidance on records management to regional functions
- Assist with the implementation of the legal hold processes, document Gathering and other discovery tasks as necessary
- Provide administrative support for corporate filings, litigation, due diligence, compliance and legal risk management

Required Skills or Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Records Management, Business Administration or demonstrated equivalent experience
- A minimum of 5 years of relevant records management experience
- At least two years of Enterprise Content Management (ECM) experience
- Technical capability and an understanding of technologies necessarily to effectively conduct records management
- Familiarity with SharePoint 2010 or SharePoint 2007. Must have some experience both with general use and with managing records through this system
