Job Description

Job Title: Accounts Manager

Responsible for:

•   Annual audit of two groups
•   Quarterly and monthly management of accounts
•   MIS request by directors and MD timely
•   Will be responsible for group cash book
•   APS, ARS, GLS Bank recs
•   Fixed Assets Register, Stock management and controls, PAYE, TBS, Audit schedules, i.e all control accounts, including intercompany recs
•   Withholdings tax, VAT returns
•   Must be proficient in Sun System, Microsoft office
•   Maintain internal control and accounting procedures

•   Review of invoice booking into correct GLS codes
•   Daily review of accounts creditor in accounts before payments are made
•   Review monthly creditors control

•   Oversee the issuing of all invoices
•   Management of AR aging reports and follow up on payment from client

F.A

•   Review of monthly payroll with HR before approval for payments, sign off on monthly payroll reviews with P and I balance sheet accounts, including PAYE. NHIS staff loans repayment

Qualification Required & Experience

•   BA/BS in Business Administration (emphasis on Accounting)
•   MBA Finance will be an advantage knowledge, skill & experience
•   PC efficient to thrive in a fast-pace setting
•   Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, Access and Power Point
•   Strong verbal, written and communication skills
•   Strong international, supervisory and customer service skills
•   Ability to multitask and work under pressure to meet deadlines
•   Strong reporting, analytical and budget development skills
•   Ability to pay attention to detail
•   Strong management proficiency and coordination skills
•   Excellent leadership and mentorship abilities
•   Ability to maintain confidential information
