We’re looking for a stellar marketing and communications expert to help lead the MarComms team and tell the world about MEST! Critical to this role will be raising awareness about the MEST program, creating well-researched reports about the African tech landscape, managing our social communities and creating regular content that highlights the achievements of our entrepreneurs, portfolio companies and staff, as well as innovations in the wider African tech community.

Job Description

Job Title: Marketing & Communications Director

This experienced professional will be a phenomenal writer, a seasoned strategist and a people person ready to dive into our exciting and engaging community. He or she will lead our internal and external marketing and communications efforts and strategy, with an eye to our Pan-African presence and global reach. A core responsibility will be overseeing all owned media, including the blog, newsletters, website and social, and working with the Recruitment Lead to continue to add to our existing assets.
