Job Title: Chief Executive Officer

Position Description

The Chief Executive (CEO), of the MIPL reports to the Board of Directors and will be responsible for the overall strategic and operational performance of MIPL towards achievements of its objectives

• This responsibility also extends to the effective management of the company in fulfillment of its declared objectives and within the framework of the policy laid down by the MIPL board
• The CEO is accountable for developing new business opportunities and sustaining valuable relationships with private and public sector stakeholders to ensure that continuous development and expansion of the church’s investments and properties

• Understanding of business and industry processes
• Good relationship management and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to formulate strategies and provide strategic advice
• Experience in working with governance boards and the interface between the role of directors and management

Qualification Required & Experience

• Bachelor’s Degree or postgraduate qualification in a banking related discipline – financial or investment or a degree in the social sciences with considerable management and leadership experience
• Over 10 to 15 years of work experience in banking of finance industry inclusive of 5 to 7 years in senior executive management position
• Financial management experience
• Strong communication and people management, interpersonal and influencing skills to build strong business relationships, foster stakeholder engagement, create new partnerships and drive culture of collaboration and innovation
• Exceptional leadership and management skills with a focus on securing strategic partnerships, business planning, people and financial management
• Must be a member of a relevant professional body

Salary and conditions of service – Negotiable
