Job Description

Job Title: Coordinator, Project Managed Data Network Services

Job Role

• Ensure Service requests from Enterprise Business [EB] are appropriately captured for service delivery
• Coordinate the planning and implementation of projects as stated in the project plan
• Review project plan and confirm alignment with customer request.
• Coordinate the service delivery of customer request via fibre and microwave transport architecture
• Generate BOQ, manage procurement and confirm delivery of materials to site or contractors’ warehouse
• Organise access and permits for contractors for easy implementation at sites
• Undertakes daily, weekly and monthly monitoring and reporting on project progress to stakeholders
• Coordinating service delivery between planning, implementation departments and contractors
• Responsible for managing ATP (Preliminary and final acceptance tests) and Project Handover to MSO
• Ensure compliance of contractual agreement with vendors
• Responsible for updating project documentation database
• Engaging with other Opcos and ISP’ to define and execute services for clients with global presence
• Develop detailed project tracker, report templates and organizes weekly project meetings to review progress and quality requirements of all enterprise projects under your supervision

Education

• Sc. Electrical/Electronic or Telecoms Engineering

• CCNA Routing & Switching Certification (Added Advantage)
• PMP Certification (Added Advantage)
• AutoCAD Design Suite Training (Added Advantage) 

Experience

• 3 years’ experience in fiber, microwave transport implementation in a Telecoms/ICT Environment
• IP network background is desirable

• Good knowledge in Telecommunications, Information Technology and Project Management
• Adequate understanding of Fiber-based networks, MW networks (PTP, PtMP), GPON/FTTx, Wi-Fi and IP/MPLS technologies. Planning, design and Implementation.
• Competent and proficient understanding of IP and data Networking technologies
• Knowledge in Network planning and design
• Adequate Knowledge Optical Fibre Technology
• Proficient user of Microsoft Office Suite, AutoCAD and Visio
