Job Description

Job Title: Supply Chain Planner

Location: Ghana

Reporting on the Demand and Supply function, the core duties of the Supply Chain Planner include but are not limited to:
Analysing and evaluating the amount of stock needed to satisfy customer demand whilst taking into account the demand uncertainty and transportation time
Ensuring SAP APO master data set up is accurately
Anticipating future risks (Overstocks, Out of Stock, Freshness), identifying potential solutions and following through on actions to mitigate these risks
Improving visibility through early warning signals on potential risks, including proactive communication to stakeholders
Establishing and regularly reviewing how much safety stock is needed for all materials within the supply network. Ensure optimal stock levels to deliver availability whilst minimising cost and improving freshness
Close collaboration with other Nestle Supply Chain Planners, to ensure product arrives from other factories.

Qualification & Skills:

Minimum 2 years experience in at least one of the below:
Factory planning
Supply Network Planning
Production planning
Procurement
Demand Planning

Experience in the following would be beneficial:
Experience of SAP APO
