Job Title: Distributor Development Manager

Basic Qualifications

Bachelors degreePast experience of 4 to 5 years commercial expertise gained across Sales/ Consumer Marketing.Broad knowledge of distribution in Ghana environs will be an added advantage.Commercial experience in Selling and Account Management

The Distributor Development Manager has overall responsibility of managing the Route To Market Distribution, General and Key Accounts through constant weekly/monthly business reviews with his Distributors, daily sales review and route riding with the Distributor’s Representatives to drive efficiency in his assigned territory.

Job Description

Achieve profitable volume sales target for the district allocated to him

  • Takes total responsibility of managing GSK’s Route Market in his district and location assigned.
  • Carries out weekly/month business reviews with distributor in his district, alongside aligning GSK’s rolled out depletion activities
  • Ensures Distributor Sales Representatives (Van Reps, Open Market and Key Account Reps) are fully managed through daily business reviews and route riding and the RTM scheme fully deployed to gain full return on our investment and.
  • Ensures GSK credit policy and payment are well run with no returned cheques.
  • Ensures contact with all distributor’s Sub Distributors and wholesalers in order to maintain impactful business relationship
  • Ensures achievement of sales drivers for his/her Area
  • Ensures promotional activity is in the right outlets and well managed
