Job Description
The candidate will report to the Regional Director and direct all elements of Newmont Ghana Security in accordance with established Newmont policies and procedure, the successful candidate must apply the best practice of industrial security to the protection of company personnel, assets, processes and product:
Conduct investigations on incidents that occur on the property
Direct activities during emergency situations
Develop, organize, train, maintain, equip and direct NGGL contract security forces for deployment to all Newmont properties
Coordinate Newmont Travel Risk Management System

Required Skills or Experience
A Bachelor’s Degree in Criminal Justice, Business/Commerce, Political Science, Law or a related discipline
A minimum of 10 years experience in security or law enforcement, or an equivalent combination of training and experience are necessary
Knowledge and experience within the security industry is required
Prior experience working with an expatriate work force
Eligible to obtain a permit to carry firearms and training in the use of firearms
