Job Description
The successful candidate will report to the Regional IT Services Manager and lead effort for effective regional end-user support of IT Services, support activities associated with IT services and support functions in accordance with Service Level Agreements
Essential Duties:
Assist the IT Services Manager in ensuring the delivery of support of IT facilities, PC/Desktop, and IT End User Support Service Delivery teams
Provide and manage oversight and continuous improvement of service delivery for Newmont’s regional IT operations
Set and align performance goals for Regional EUC/Services Teams
Coach and mentor Lead Technicians within the company
Perform root cause analysis, address findings, seek budgets and generate project requests

Required Skills or Experience
Technical skills, Education/Training & Experience:
A Bachelor’s of Science degree in Computer Science or its equivalent
MCSE certification, Network and CISCO certifications are plus
Must have a minimum of 8 years working experience in services or technical support role, project management experience and mine site based IT support role
Must have good interpersonal and communication skills
