Job Description

Job Title: Human Resources Representative III

This position provides administrative support to the HR function as needed

Essential Duties

  • Maintain all HR related records, files and documentation and verify that these are stored appropriately and remain up-to-date (physically and electronically).
  • Assist the HR Superintendent to prepare all reports through the collation of data from the HRIS system.
  • Provide administrative back-end support to the Senior Site HR Manager by overseeing and managing the HR Department’s events calendar
  • Coordinate the unit’s work schedule and report and /or action correspondence with all business partners
  • Support HR Business Partners in the administration of employee benefits, labour relations, grievance handling, and process workmen’s compensation documentation.
    • Oversee the administration of compensation benefits.
    • Accept and forward all employee benefit requests to the HR Representative.
    • Notify all employees of impending payments, authorizations and other related communiques
  • Advise supervisors/management of potential problem areas and recommend/implement solutions as appropriate.
  • Coordinate the business partner onboarding process by ensuring compliance to all due processes, setting up of new business partners SAP and preparing inductions.

Training & Experience

Knowledge:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, Social Science, Psychology or related field
  • Good command of English language (spoken and written)

Experience:

  • Minimum of 4 years of experience in human resources HR generalist experience
  • Experience in using Human Resource tools and systems in SAP and Success factors

Skills and Abilities:

  • Good problem solving, interpersonal relationship and communication skills are required
  • Ability to quickly build strong partnerships and influence others

Working Conditions

  • The position is based at the Ahafo mine site as Senior Staff.
