Job Description

Job Title: Car Title Loan Recovery Officer 

Reports To: Credit Administration Manager
Location: Tamale

Purpose Of The Job:

Responsible for managing all matters relating to Car Title delinquent loans accounts by constantly monitoring disbursed loans, executing collection & recovery procedures and ensuring appropriate actions are taken to ensure full recovery.

Primary Responsibilities:

Manage and control all matters relating to delinquent CFC Car Title Loans accounts by constantly monitoring disbursed loans, executing collection & recovery procedures and ensuring appropriate actions are taken to ensure full recovery.
Highlights and escalates any credit failures to identify ways of improving the credit approval process.
Ensures remedial action is taken when required to keep performance in line with business objectives.
Perform administrative work or other job functions related to collections and recoveries.
Monitor accounts daily and effectively utilize Bayport’s collections systems in line with approved collections strategy.
Monitor all vehicles and present monthly vehicle monitoring reports.
Ensure quality of Car Title loan portfolio through effective portfolio management and monitoring
Any other duties assigned to you by management

Required Skills or Experience

A minimum of Higher National Diploma.
Over 3 years’ experience in running collection, specifically with unsecured lending
Strong self-motivation, with ability to work independently and under pressure

Competencies Required (Skills & Abilities)

Good knowledge of application software such as MS Word, Excel and Access
Must be able to meet target on scheduled time
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Must be willing to travel to customer sites
Must be highly assertive
