Job Description
Job Title: Branch Operations Manager
- Supports the daily security of the vault by strictly adhering to organization’s policy on the handling of keys and access to the vault during working hours.
- Ensures availability of cash to tellers for day to day banking activities
- Ensures all cash is safely recorded and lodged in the vault at the end of each day in accordance with organization’s policy,
- Ensuring timely opening and closing of the branch
- Responsible for custody and safety of all branch assets and conduct inventory checks and update records.
- Enforces progressive discipline policy with written warnings when necessary.
- Ensures daily and weekly briefing on operational issues with staff.
- Prepares weekly, monthly, quarterly and yearly report on activities.
Qualification
- BSc/BA in Accounting or relevant field; MSc/MBA or belonging to a professional body will be a plus
- Familiarity with MS Office and proficiency in basic computer applications such as Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Excel are required.
