Job Description

Job Title: IT And Automation Supervisor

• Location: Kumasi
• Employment type: Permanent

Responsible for the supervision of all process control activities, industrial and office IT automation and maintenance. Lead non-destructive predictive/conditional maintenance survey and reporting, using applicable instruments e.g. IR thermography, ultra-probe etc.

Practical/technical activities:

• Monitor production processes and ensure that all process and safety controls are properly functioning
• Supervise and ensure that all control and network installations are undertaken at the location comply with applicable international and National standards.
• Troubleshooting and maintenance of existing servers, instrumentation and other  automated equipment
• Ensure that an effective predictive/conditional monitoring plan exists and is well followed
• Ensure timely reporting of predictive maintenance survey reports, following up on stakeholders to ensure timely implementation of recommendations from the survey
• Collect meter readings and perform calibration of meters and analyzers
• Provide helpdesk support to  computing users
• Assist in modification and/or design of control circuits
• Ensure that all required and appropriate documentations (instruction, operation, maintenance manuals etc.) are made available for all newly installed control equipment
• Ensure the availability of all major and or critical spare parts for control equipment under your supervision.
• Provide coaching, training, and support to field operators and technicians on system controls, whenever required
