Job Description
Job Title: Distribution Support/Broker Relationship Officer
- This role functions as a subject matter expert in a specific field of administration/product/process.
- Act as a consultant w.r.t decision making of operational and or tactical importance
- Act as an expert resource on major projects or could be accountable for the delivery of projects within the division or BU.
- Act as a consultant for system enhancements.
- Accountable for major administration processes and the project management thereof.
- Functions as a subject matter expert in a specific field of administration/product/process.
- Often acts as a point of escalation for matters with a higher level of complexity.
- Support non-performing Advisors through Performance Review Process (PRP) and Co-attendance in the team in conjunction with Branch Sales Manager to improve performance.
- Research and develop more commercial worksite markets and develop strategies to penetrate them on a weekly basis.
- Resolve internal and external customer or stakeholders queries
- Act as the sole liaison between Financial Advisors (FA) and the business
- Responsible for timely payment of FA allowances.
- Oversee partnerships with Brokers (pitch for the partnership deals and manage relationships)
- Provide training support to the business unit.
- Strong support role to the BU Executive.
Requirements: Skills, Qualifications, and Experience required
- Minimum of Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline from an accredited tertiary institution
- Sales and marketing experience in the financial services industry
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Excellent relationship management skills
- Excellent interpersonal relationship skills
- Highly organized and structured, able to multi-task and prioritize appropriately.
