Our Client is a leading brewer and marketer of premium drinks in Ghana with a mission to become the trendsetters in identifying opportunities and delivering with pace to meet consumer needs. The company is looking for experienced and result oriented individuals to fill its Divisional Sales Manager position.
Job Title: Divisional Sales Manager
Reporting to the Sales Director job holder will be directly responsible for the performance of a team of Sales Managers & Executives, deliver Volume, NSV, Share, Distribution, Coverage expressed through the Trade Strategy
Enforce all aspects of the Food Safety and Quality Management System is followed and maintained.
Participate and contributing expert customer & consumer knowledge in cross functional insight development & commercial workshops
Achieve targets for all customer & consumer drivers
Manage outlet typing & define coverage strategy
Ensures that the market has a defined contact and coverage strategy as well as account classification
Set the sales rep capacity guidelines for each sales cycle
Develop a strategy that establishes guidelines for a ceiling on the percentage of call time spent collecting data
Embed relevant KPIs within Sales Incentives to drive great performance
Enforce the ad hoc requests process for sales force execution with all requests channeled through a gate keeper
Drive consistency of Sales processes, articulates why it is important to hold Sales managers accountable across the organization
Hold sales managers and other functions accountable for adhering to the agreed plans and activities to minimize distraction of the sales force
Drive consistency of sales execution KPI’s with those tracked within the Global Scorecard.
Review data to understand performance of the sales force and how this is being managed by Sales Managers
Proactively maintain a set of reports which is regularly used to query Sales Managers on achievement of agreed objectives and targets
Embeds insight generation capabilities throughout the Sales Managers and Sales Operations function.
Minimum of a Graduate Degree in a related field
At least 7-10years experience in marketing / commercial / Sales environments with at least 3 years within a retail / FMCG business with an experience in a Leadership position
A proven track record in marketing / commercial / sales functions
Strong People management experience
Able to identify and articulate customer/market/ competitor information to report on & input to future Trade Strategy.
Prioritizes and targets brand and commercial activities using clear segmentation
Ability to resolving conflict.
Must be proficient in the use of Microsoft office, Automation selling software
