Ensure cost, accruals and depreciation is accurately and timely captured on monthly basis in the cost reports to Head of Departments.
Prepare accurate and timely weekly Gold Sales Invoice and shipment notice for weekly sales.
Ensure Balance Sheet Accounts are accurate at the end of every month and reflect the financial position of the company.
Oversee all aspects of the General Ledger
Ensure regular update of the Company Fixed Assets Register.
Ensure all balance sheet accounts are reconciled on monthly basis.
Ensure the reconciliation of the capital project accounts and the accuracy of the fixed assets Register.
Perform any other related duties that may be assigned from time to time.
Required Skills or Experience
Degree in Accounting with at least three (3) years hands on experience especially with general ledger.
Must be a member of ICA/ACCA or studying towards becoming a member of ICA or ACCA.
Experience with the Pronto ERP system is an added advantage.
Must be confident, a self-starter and must be able to drive the monthly close process to ensure that all deadlines are met.
Strong communication skills, oral and written.
Must be fully functional in Microsoft Office 2007, and exceptional in Excel.
