Job Description

Responsible for management systems, processes, policies and procedures to meet sectional short and long term goals;
Ensure appropriate maintenance methodologies are in place to improve plant availability;
Design and implement strategies to ensure efficient shutdown execution;
Supervise activities of Mechanical Coordinators and Supervisors;
Troubleshoot problems and advise the way forward;
Responsible for training and development, mentoring and coaching of subordinates
Perform any other related duties that may be assigned from time to time.

Required Skills or Experience

Degree in Mechanical Engineering with at least ten (10) years hands on experience with reputable organisation;
Experience with mining companies will be added advantage;
Must have knowledge of and experience in heavy rotational equipment, mills, crushers, and pumps;
Must have proven record of running mill maintenance departments;
Excellent organisational, planning and people management skills;
Must be confident, a self-starter and reliable;
Excellent communication skills, oral and written.
Must be computer literate
Must possess valid Ghanaian drivers’ license.
