Penta Consulting: 2G RF Optimisation Engineer

Penta Consulting URGENTLY require a 2G RF Optimisation Engineer in the following locations:

Kenya / Nigeria / Ghana

You will require the following competencies:

Good knowledge with the use of MS office, Mapinfo,TCPU (Tems cell planner universal),TEMS investigation Must have good knowledge with SecureCRT, MOSHELL, Comand Prompts,OSS, PLEASE REFER TO BELOW Perform radio network performance analysis and optimisation using Optima/BO/Astellia, MARS, IManager and RNO tools (NCS, MRR, FAS) to achieve KPIs such as Call Setup Success Rate, TCH drop, Handover Success Rate and SDCCH drops.
• Radio network parameters tuning such as Power control, IRC, HCS, Multiband Cell etc.
Worst cells analysis and troubleshooting
Parameter tuning and optimization
Drive test analysis using TEMS Investigations and making necessary parameter changes to improve network.
Interference troubleshooting in BTS sites using HP spectrum analyser.
Preparing riggers to do sites audits and antenna alterations where/if necessary
Perform weekly KPI presentation of responsible BSCs for internal NPI meetings Secondary Area of Expertise:
Good overall knowledge of GSM architecture, and Network perfromance. Must be able to Drive test the network and provide reports thereafter.
Must be familiar and have Ericsson Experience.
