Job Description

Job Title: Call Center Coordinator

Currently, we have the opportunity for a dynamic Call Centre Coordinator to join our West Africa team in Accra.

In this role you will have the opportunity to provide very hands-on operational support to our Customer Care Centre. You will be responsible of handling registrations of calls and orders and interfacing with the Call Centre Admin Officer and Customers. You will as well handle the Parts Clearance and return Process to/from Warehouse. You will ensure that all actions are in complete alignment with Philips’ practices, policies and values as well as state, federal and regulatory requirements.

You will report to the District Operations Manager West Africa

You are responsible for (but your tasks are not limited to):

  • Accurate registration of new calls and orders in our Install-base database system in partnership with the Call Center Officer
  • Keeping  up-to date the Install-base data base
  • Responsible for troubleshooting complex order issues, facilitating and supporting management with interdepartmental communications and outreach, as well as ensuring all orders are processed appropriately
  • Responsible of Parts Clearance and return Process to/from Warehouse – also keeping a record for services done beyond service agreements
  • Making sure warranty and contract is connected to the installed equipment ID with correct serial numbers & 3rd party equipment’s
  • Follow up with customer for satisfaction by calling the customer to confirm that the call was registered and there is no other pending issues
  • Provide a weekly report for Customer Satisfaction showing the Resolution Plan and action that will be taken to satisfy each listed customer and showing the progress of the agreed taken actions.

To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience:

  • University degree
  • 1-2 years’ experience in a fast-paced international organization is a must
  • Outstanding organizational and time management skills is a must
  • Outstanding attention to detail is a must
  • Strong written and oral communication skills is a must
  • Advanced experience in working on Excel is a must
  • Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines
  • Ability to research, digest, analyze and present material clearly and concisely
  • Ability to work on your own initiative
  • Honesty and reliability
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
