Philips Ghana: Senior Project Manager

Your team
The Project Manager will be working from our office in Ghana, West Africa and closely work with local sales. You will directly report to the Supply Chain Manager.

About the department
Within the Philips Healthcare Sales & Services Organization, you’ll be working for the cluster MCR EMEA. The cluster MCR-EMEA is a dynamic & challenging place to work! 

We are accountable for the sales & service results of Philips Healthcare in Africa, Middle East, Central & Eastern Europe, Russia and Central Asia. Working with many cultures, cross boundaries and achieving year on year double digit growth is what we do. As part of MCR EMEA, you will be part of the Customer Services (CS) & Operations organization.

Your responsibilities
You will be responsible for the effective execution of the Order Realization Process (ORP) and active Involvement in Order Acquisition Process (OAP). The Project Manager is overall responsible for delivering projects on time, on budget and to required standard.

Support Order Acquisition Process

• Work closely together with the sales team / Key Account Manager to support the OAP;
• Site assessments to understand the local situation and the real customer need;
• Create project plans / budgets and perform risk assessment during the OAP to meet Customer needs and to create a beneficial quote.

Order Realization Process

• Be the main interface during the project towards the customer;
• Create project and milestone date /planning in project management tool ( Clarity);
• Build Distributor capabilities.

Quality & Regulatory

• Responsible for reviewing quotation / solution developed for the customer for compliance and feasibility;
• Responsible for reporting customer feedback according to applicable quality standard policy and follow up relevant assigned Q&R training in a timely manner.

 

Required Skills or Experience

 

• Bachelor / Master degree.
• Experience in project scheduling, cost control in a technical environment.
• Minimum of 5 years experience in project management.
• Experience in working within international teams.
• Knowledge of site preparation and planning per modality, relevant product specifications room requirements is a plus.
• Understanding of Supply Chain Processes.
• Fluent in English and French verbal and written.
• Willing to travel up to 50%.
