We also offer services such as lift design, plumbing and electrical works through our STRATEGIC PARTNERS. PKBA uses ozone friendly gases like R410a refrigerants. Efficient consumption of energy and Green Technology in building design and supply are central to our practice. Our designs incorporate Chillers, Variable refrigerant flow systems (VRF), Split Units, Heat Energy Recovery systems and many others. We customize our installations to suit our clients.

Job Description

Job Title: HVAC Engineer

AC Engineer is required to:

• Design, supervise installation  and maintain systems such as ventilation, refrigeration, air conditioning, central heating, among others.
• Work on VRV (Variable Refrigerant Volume), VRF (Variable Refrigerant Flow), multi-split and split systems.
• Design and Installation of ducts. (ALP, Galvanized sheets)
• Plumbing design will be a added advantage
• Provide technical information to clients.
• Inspect air conditioning systems.
• Diagnose & troubleshoot faulty equipment.
• Supervise craft workers & technicians.

Required Skills or Experience

• Must have a minimum of a degree in Mechanical engineering from a recognized institution.
• Must have at least three (3) years working experience.
• Must have leadership abilities & work without supervision.
• Must be able to read high level technical drawings.
• Must have good written and spoken communication skills.
• Must have interpersonal abilities.
• Must be able to meet deadlines.
• Must have knowledge about national legislation on refrigerants and standards.
• Must be aware of safety issues.
• Ability to use Autocad and selection software in design
