1. Credit Manager

The Credit Manager shall be responsible for the entire credit granting process, including establishing policies and procedures for credit application processes, and maintaining credit for clients of the organization. Role reports to the Chief Operating Officer

Role Specific Requirements:

  • Maintain a department organizational structure sufficient to meet all goals and objectives
  • Properly motivate the credit and collections staff
  • Ensure the accurate and timely monthly reporting of financial information
  • Managing the processes and systems for formulating and evaluating business performance including planning, forecasting and budgeting, advanced analysis of financial data and team’s profitability
  • Prepare various analyses for the needs of the top management
  • Serve as the point person for external auditors’ quarterly financial reviews and year-end audit
  • Manage relations with Sales Department
  • Monitor deductions being taken from clients
  • Monitor the credit granting and updating process
  • Manage the application of late fees

 

Required Skills or Experience

Minimum Qualification:

  • 5 years minimum experience with 3 years in credit analyst/ appraisal/ approver capacity
  • Masters Degree from a recognized university in Finance/Accounting
  • ACCA, ICAG, CFA
  • Good oral and written communication
  • Proficient in MS office suite
  • Knowledge of accounting software is a plus

2. BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT MANAGER

The Business Development Manager shall be responsible for managing, supporting and supervising the acquisition of new projects and project bids. He shall also be responsible for marketing the establishment. The position reports to the Chief Operating Officer

Role Specific Requirements:

  • Initiate marketing strategies and coordinate actions to influence the market
  • Clarify goals and reach agreement maintaining the interests of all parties
  • Proactively develop and improve products and services
  • Discuss strategic and sensitive issues
  • Understand clients’ needs
  • Build and maintain excellent relationships with colleagues and clients

 

3. Head of Human Resource

The Head of Human Resource shall be responsible for developing and implementing remuneration strategies, systems and processes which will help attract, motivate and retain suitable talent to maximize business profitability. He/she shall also be charged with development of the human capital of the organization and providing guidance and advice at the business unit level. The role reports to the General Manager

Role Specific Requirements:

  • Actively initiate and contribute to plans and initiatives that will provide greater efficiencies and productivity from available resources
  • Translate human capital development plans into operational outcomes covering recruitment, promotion, career management and development and any other relevant activity
  • Work with management team to set compensation and benefit objectives, analyze market remuneration and design total compensation systems and structures that enable the business to retain a competitive team who are able to deliver on results
  • Provide support to business units on the implementation of human resource management, including succession planning, job evaluation, performance management reward and recognition

 

Required Skills or Experience

Minimum Qualification:

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management, or closely related discipline
  • MBA will be a plus
  • 7-10 years work experience with 3 -5 years experience in both HR operations and strategy
  • Must possess extensive exposure to recruitment, motivation and organizational development systems.
  • IHRP,CIPD qualification will be a plus
  • Ability to communicate effectively in English

4. Corporate Affairs Manager

The Corporate Affairs manager shall be responsible for developing, managing and promoting a positive working and relational environment in the company. Heshe shall also represent the company’s brand and reputation in public, through both oral and written communications. Essentially, he or she becomes the face of the organization, interacting with employees, clients, the media and other stakeholders. The role reports to the Managing Director

  • Take editorial responsibility for the organisations website, and other corporate communications tools

  • Handle all corporate affairs and legal issues of the business in consultation with legal advisers

  • First Degree in real business administration, accounting or finance
  • MBA a plus

5. General Manager

The General Manager shall be responsible for the ultimate success of the establishment and shall ensure that everything runs smoothly. The position reports to the Chief Operating Officer

Role Specific Requirements:

  • Deposit and investment mobilisation
  • Set targets in consultation with the board and ensure they are met
  • Must be involved with business planning and formulate establishment  policies by regularly following the different changes in the financial regulations
  • Creates a friendly environment in the establishment that keeps both customers and employees happy
  • Must motivate and train his staff to keep up with a high standard and positively deal with customer complaints
  • Create and analyse management information and reports, which are then given to staff and executive body
