The Assistant Manager shall be responsible for maintaining exceptionally high standards of customer service comparable with only the best hospitality houses in Ghana. She/he shall ensure a pleasant and novelty experience for customers. The role reports to the Manager
Role Specific Requirement:
Supervise junior staff (2 to 4 at a time) and coordinate with management and other assistant manager to ensure exceptionally high quality customer service, friendly atmosphere, timeliness and cleanliness
Handle stock management, record keeping and cash management
Monitor that the maintenance and cleaning schedules are rigorously kept by grounds and cleaning staff and that maintenance problems are dealt with promptly
Handle cash register and step in to handle food/drink service duties from time to time if needed, particularly busy time period or when customers are waiting
Assist in opening and closing business at beginning and ending of day when required( includes locks, lights, TV, cleanliness check, stock check, counter service prep, daily records prep, etc)
Interact with customers, monitor their satisfaction, handle events requests and troubleshoot issues in a friendly and quick manner
Answer telephone
Ensure that website and other marketing avenues are kept up-to-date
Actively support events, sales and marketing efforts while maintaining the integrity of the company’s brand
Handle all documentation regarding the operations of the business including petty cash management , document scanning and archival purchase logs
Provide detailed documentation on upcoming events and feedback on completed
Required Skills or Experience
Minimum Qualification:
First Degree from a recognized university
3 years relevant work experience in similar role
Good oral and written communication
Strong IT background in MS suite
