The Business Risk Controller shall be responsible for Operational management and ensuring that corporate policies adhere to governmental regulations. The role reports to the Business Risk Manager.
Role Specific Requirements:
- Ensure that internal controls are functional and adequate
- Support co-ordination of the Crisis Management activities and processes to successfully manage incidents
- Effective identification and assessment of business risks
- Assess top risks at a half year basis
- Maintain the Business Risk Register and ensure that other activities within the framework are completed effectively
- Review new products and services
- Effective and regular testing of the Business Continuity and Crisis Management process to ensure understanding and operational effectiveness
Required Skills or Experience
Minimum Qualification:
- 5 years experience with 3 years in a similar role
- Relevant degree from a recognised institution
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Good understanding of and appreciation for Business Continuity & Crisis Management
- Previous Security & Risk experience in the Telecommunication Industry
- Strong consulting skills and ability to work independently
