Job Description

Job Title: System Audit Assistant

Job Summary

• Participate in opening meetings with auditees to explain the scope and objectives of the audit engagement to client and provide an overview of all steps in the audit process
• Develop a thorough understanding of business processes in scope for assigned audit and document the processes in flowcharts and process narratives
• Identify and document inherent risks and controls within the business process
• Develop a risk-based test plan by selecting appropriate audit approach, test procedures and sampling criteria based on professional judgement and defined internal audit process
• Evaluate the adequacy of process design and the effectiveness of control in meeting business and control objective
• Identify and document control and process weakness and provide evidential support for findings
• Proposed practical and value added recommendations to address control weakness and/or process inefficiencies
• Assist in the preparation of a concise and informative audit report to effectively management
• Assist the manager, internal audit in the development of the annual internal audit plan

Qualification Required & Experience

• Must have at least 1st Degree in Accounting or Audit
• A minimum of 3 years working experience in a financial institution with some working knowledge in audit and inspection
• Must be a certified information systems auditors (CISA)
