Job Description

Job Title: Human Resources Manager

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Full accountability for the HR management and development and improvement of HR in countries within scope.

2. Plan, develop and coordinate HR initiatives in support of business goals as instructed by GMs.

Adapts global HR initiatives as necessary to local organization needs within defined boundaries, and assists local management in implementing by effectively communicating on goals and implications.

3. Provides strategic business partner (part of local leadership team), and field employee/labour relations support to local businesses in region.. 4. Drive strategic people initiatives and programs through the organization and mobilize the management team to excel in the successful execution of people strategy.

5. Interprets and communicates business needs, and identifies or assists in crafting appropriate solutions to meet needs, within framework of Puma global HR initiatives.

6. Promote harmonious and business effective relations with the Trade Unions and employees generally.

7. Manages the defined Global KPI’s/metrics for measuring effectiveness of HR programs in driving organizational performance and containing costs. Reports on these on a monthly basis and ensures data accuracy and data completion is maintained at 100% in respective countries and any discrepancies highlighted, and action plan put in place to address the corrections within same month of issue occurring.

8. Oversee the approval of the monthly payrolls in each country, reviewing the variances reports and signing off prior to GM approval.

9. Drives recruitment excellence in all countries and ensure global recruitment KPI’s are adhered to, including effective use of WD recruitment. Leads recruitment processes, as required, and in particular for regional positions and those reporting to Regional CEO.

10. Produces monthly dashboard report for WAF CEO, with analysis and variances explanations.

Education:

Bachelor of Arts (B.A.): Human Resources Management (Required)
