Job Description

Job Title: Microsoft SharePoint Programmers

Roles & Responsibilities

• Develop Enterprise application as per written specifications;
• Contribute to all aspects of an Agile software development process including: design, programming, testing, documentation, quality assurance, and implementation;
• Carry out unit testing ensuring application meets needs of client and business;
• Translate technical requirements and design documentation into application code and modules;
• Contribute to and maintain technical documentation / manual related to assigned components to ensure supportability;
• Make suggestions for problem solutions or software enhancements, which will typically be reviewed by a senior;
• Implement solutions as directed within PwC standards and with guidance from seniors;
• Participate in project planning sessions with team members to analyze development requirements;
• Provide status updates for own scope of work within projects;
• Participate in internal team and status meetings;
• Develop software using disciplined software development processes, adhering to industry standards and software best practice guidelines;
• • Troubleshoot complex SharePoint application problems, including client environments, site configuration, user permissions and data accuracy.
  • Resolve outages, monitor production applications and support day-to-day operations of SharePoint Online.
  • Create efficient and logical databases for clients
  • Build proof of concept examples or graphical simulation software. Then maintain product test software and demos for training purposes

  Requirements

  • Advanced knowledge of SharePoint 2010/2013 platform;
  • Proficient knowledge of .NET, advanced knowledge of JavaScript and intermediate knowledge of HTML5.0, CSS;
  • Advanced knowledge of ASP.NET Web forms;
  • Advanced knowledge of Web Parts and User Controls;
  • Intermediate knowledge of SharePoint Workflows;
  • Intermediate knowledge of SharePoint event receivers;
  • Advanced knowledge of SharePoint Master page branding;
  • Intermediate knowledge of SharePoint Publishing;
  • Advanced knowledge of SharePoint list, content types, fields creation via code and definitions;
  • Advanced knowledge of CAML query;
  • Advanced knowledge of CSOM/JSOM;
  • Experience in JQuery.
  • Client facing experience is essential
  • Clear understanding of SharePoint Architecture
  • Experience in client engagement including technical pre-sales support, requirements gathering and project meetings
  • A solid knowledge and a proven track record developing SharePoint solutions using both the Feature and App Model Frameworks
