Job Description
Job Title: Branch Manager
ROLE SPECIFICATION
- Plan and lead all business activities of the branch
- Manage and supervise staff in the areas of underwriting, reinsurance and claims
- Market company product to increase market share
- Manage claims reported to the branch
- Approve all policies underwritten in a branch
- Assure excellent customer service by ensuring that branch activities are conducted in line with company and NIC standards/regulations
- Prepare weekly production report, monthly production and marketing report and ensure they are submitted on time
PERSON SPECIFICATION
- First degree in any course
- Diploma in Insurance
- Minimum of five (5) years working experience in similar role
- Ability to work effectively and independently with little supervision
- Ability to work with colleagues across the organization
- In depth knowledge in premium calculations/use of an underwriting software
- Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing
- Ability to effectively explain policies and claims procedure to clients
