Position: Front End Developer

Summary:

We are looking for individuals who are passionate about building fantastic user experiences, who love frontend design and have a strong knowledge of frontend technology such as HTML5, CSS and jQuery?

Job Description

As a Frontend Developer you will be part of a team responsible for an assigned platform. This will involve building new applications, maintaining the existing functionality as well as developing new and innovative features to ensure that the platform remains competitive in a fast-moving market.

All of our systems work as a browser-based platform, but also feature USSD, Android and IOS applications and an API driven (Java) backend.

Our development approach follows an Agile methodology and you will be working together with a team of colleagues in a SCRUM team. Within the team you will take up responsibility for the frontend implementation and design, supported by the colleagues picking up the backend developments going alongside with it.

As part of a young and growing company, this role is expected to evolve significantly over time. You will be encouraged to pick up new responsibilities and embrace opportunities as the company expands. You will be reporting to the CTO.

What Skills & Experience Do You Need To Apply?

We like people who are flexible and have the ability to enthusiastically respond to new tasks and challenges.

As a general rule, you should have the following with proof:

·     Strong knowledge on Web application development (Asp .Net MVC)

·     Strong knowledge on Web service development using SOAP and REST protocols.

·     Strong knowledge on Android and IOS application development.

·     Demonstrable skill on UI/UX development.

·     API management.

·     Experience on Desktop application development using C# and Java

·         1 to 3 years of work experience

·         Strong knowledge of frontend technologies such as HTML5, CSS, jQuery

·         Good understanding of the English Language (verbal and written)

·         Basic experience with Linux servers
