Job Description
Job Title: Civil Works Project Manager
Reports To: CEO
Interacts With: Internal

Supervises: Civil Works & Design Team
Job Purpose:
To manage the initiation, planning, execution, control and handover of all Projects in accordance with contractual time, cost and QEHS requirements. Manage in accordance with all of the Company’s project management policies and procedures
Plan, design and budget for Projects with approval from management prior to take off;
Responsible in driving, coordinating, supervising and tracking plus reporting the day to day implementation activities for Infrastructure related projects (site surveys, installations, testing & commissioning, etc.). This includes post implementation, documentation and warranty works;
Manage and resolve implementation issues such as site engineering, technical issues, coordination (Client and sub-contractors) issues, resource issues,
logistics and finance issues etc., including proper escalation to Senior Management;
Ensure financial tracking for project profitability;
Implement new training programs etc. for supervisors and sub-contractors;
Responsibilities / Key Objectives:
Responsible for client PM team interface in delivering Core projects to client satisfaction and commendation. Ensure that sub-con & implementation teams adhere to Client TS, the Company’s implementation process, MOP, Change Management process & TOC guideline;
Coordinate and facilitate technical integration activities, test procedure and test cases execution with Client, the Company’s vendors & 3rd party
vendors/sub-contractors;
Responsible for project implementation documentation and reporting, including monitoring progress, providing visibility to the implementation team as well as project team;
Manage implementation interdependencies including devising a solution with the relevant field resources as well as Project Managers.
Required Skills or Experience
Education:
B.Sc. Civil/Telecom/Bldg.Tech./Design (Degree).
A master’s degree or post-Graduate Diploma in management will be advantageous
Knowledge and Experience:
5 years post qualification experience in similar or related field.
Knowledge in Project Management
Adequate knowledge in any of the following:
Building/Construction Technology, Architectural Design/Engineering or Civil engineering
Basic knowledge in GSM & WCDMA networks’ Architecture,
Adequate knowledge in Structural designs
Skills:
