Brand Leading Supplier seeks an enthusiastic, highly qualified, Technical Sales Manager to join their West Africa Team. Individual to be based in Ghana, however, Fluency in French is a Must!

Key Responsibilities for the Technical Sales Manager:

  • Develop and maintain a close technical / engineering relationship with key clientele.
  • Mine site Audit, give the best recommendation for site maintenance and the product to be used.
  • TKPH calculation
  • Upload end-users profile details and performance data on management system
  • Analyze tires performance issues, and inspect claim tires.
  • Build and develop Distributor technical teams.
  • Perform training to end-users & distributor teams, both in class and hands on at the site.
  • Interface with Marketing, Sales, and Development.
  • To create factual performance data through regular site surveys, weight and temperature studies when needed
  • Continually update the technical data for each assigned mine through a designated report.  This report will be sent to development, sales, and marketing.
  • Write NPD’s, PIR, etc. when required for improved performance when the company does not have the right fit for the requirement or when mine profile changes.
  • Arrange for the viewing and inspection of all products.
  • Identify, coordinate and collate data from tire performance issues for the region and report to development.
  • Train all mine personnel on applications and maintenance of products.
  • Conduct market analyses, including market trends, unit market forecasts, competitor activity and opportunities.

Key skills and qualifications:

  • Experience working with product service/warranties.
  • Sound understanding of targeting mines across West Africa.
  • Self-motivated.
  • Customer service oriented.
  • Team Player.
  • Ability to interact professionally with a variety of personalities.
  • Ability to identify problems and find solutions.
  • Competent in use of MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Possess sound communications skills and interpersonal skills.
  • Possess organizational skills with the ability to assess, priorities and handle many tasks simultaneously.
  • Excellent time management skills.
  • Ability to travel.
  • Fluent in English and French.
