Job Title: Gender Advisor
CALL FOR CVs: POWER AFRICA, USAID TASK ORDER FOR WEST AFRICA
RTI International is requesting applications for technical and operational roles for the USAID-funded Power Africa Task Order. This Task Order intends to expand affordable and reliable electricity services in West Africa, with the ultimate goal of supporting development priorities, including inclusive economic growth, security, and improved health and education outcomes.
Depending on the position, work locations will be based in the following: Benin, Burkina Faso, Cameroon, Cape Verde, Central African Republic, Chad, Congo, Côte d’Ivoire, the Democratic Republic of the Congo, Equatorial Guinea, Gabon, the Gambia, Ghana, Guinea, Guinea-Bissau, Liberia, Mali, Mauritania, Niger, Sao Tome & Principe, Senegal, Sierra Leone, and Togo. We are recruiting bilingual (French/English) candidates for the following role: Gender Advisor
Profile
Gender Advisor will provide technical leadership, oversight, and integration of gender equity and social inclusion approaches across project activities.
Required Skills or Experience
Master’s degree in gender studies, social sciences, or international development
6 years of experience or BA/BS and 10 years of experience in gender advisor roles on USAID-funded development projects in West Africa
