RTI International is requesting applications for technical and operational roles for the USAID-funded Power Africa Task Order. This Task Order intends to expand affordable and reliable electricity services in West Africa, with the ultimate goal of supporting development priorities, including inclusive economic growth, security, and improved health and education outcomes.
Depending on the position, work locations will be based in the following: Benin, Burkina Faso, Cameroon, Cape Verde, Central African Republic, Chad, Congo, Côte d’Ivoire, the Democratic Republic of the Congo, Equatorial Guinea, Gabon, the Gambia, Ghana, Guinea, Guinea-Bissau, Liberia, Mali, Mauritania, Niger, Sao Tome & Principe, Senegal, Sierra Leone, and Togo. We are recruiting bilingual (French/English) candidates for the following role: Deputy Chief of Party
Deputy Chief of Party/Operations Lead (DCOP/OPS) will manage all project operations, MEL activities, communications, and provide support to points of contact within the Power Africa Coordinator’s Office.
This position will be located in Accra, Ghana.
Required Skills or Experience
Master’s degree in engineering or another relevant field with 12 years of experience in technical and management roles on similar energy projects.
Experience working on USAID-funded energy projects in Africa and ensuring cost control, compliance, and accessibility.
