Job Description

Job Title: Healthcare and Environment

This facility branded as the Safari Valley Resort where “Hospitality will mimic nature” seeks to employ hotel professionals with the right competencies, skills and character into its fold.

A wide range of both blue and white collar jobs are available for prospective applicants.

Selected candidates will be subjected to a three (3) months’ intensive and professionally measured training and orientation before the trial opening phase.

Again selected candidates would be accommodated on the premises where the resort is located to enable been to give customised services to the guests.

1. Veterinary Doctor

Qualifications:

• Minimum of Doctor of Veterinary Medicine or related field

Skills & Competencies

• Proven experience as a veterinary doctor
• Problem-solving skills
• Knowledge of medical equipment
• strong affinity for animals
• Undeterred by scratched, bitten or exposed to infectious diseases and resilient to noise
• Available to work extended hours

Attributes

• Good Communication skills
• Good interpersonal skills
• Patience
• Willing to learn

2. Nurse

Qualifications:

• Certified or registered nurse

Skills & Competencies

• Minimum of 2 years experience in a similar role

Attributes

• Working knowledge of healthcare law and regulations
• Good communication skills

3. Paramedic

Qualifications:

• Certified health assistant

Skills & Competencies

• Minimum of 2 years experience in a similar role
• Ability to provide emergency and primary health care for hotel visitors and staff
• Ability to perform administrative duties pertaining to the provision of health care

Attributes

• Working knowledge of healthcare law and regulations
• Good communication skills

4. Ground Supervisor

Qualifications:

• Minimum of SSCE/WASSCE with horticultural training

Skills & Competencies

• Proven experience as a ground supervisor
• Knowledge of plants
• Knowledge of gardening operations and equipment
• Available to work extended hours

• Good interpersonal skills

• Physical fitness
