Job Description
Job Title: Marketing And Sales Coordinator
Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Hospitality Tourism Management or Marketing preferred
Experience: 2-5 year’s hospitality and 2-4 year’s sales or marketing experience preferred.
Skill Requirements: Service-oriented with great interpersonal skills. Organization and time management are integral in this role
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
Assist with establishing and improving the organisation brand by offering a personalized style of service to current and prospective guests.
Lead and assist in the development of strategic marketing plans to support organisation’s growth and vision.
Have the foresight to uncover new opportunities to leverage internal 360i tools to the advantage of influencer marketing
Contribute to and monitor the flow of new web content. Coordinate with the web maintenance provider to create a bi-monthly report on the effectiveness of the website.
Promote attractions & community events to visitors
Organize various media information and make affordable and effective media buys to promote the organisation
Develop strategies, programs, policies and implement a tourism marketing plan to promote the organization.
Prepare weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual reports as required
Assist the Director in the development of the market plan, related presentations, and compilation of competitive intelligence information and execution of items related to the sales operation of the organization.
Maintain a positive attitude; be reliable and on-time for all activities
Develop marketing strategies involves promoting and selling a variety of travel services, attractions and vacation packages
Diagnose the clients’ specifications and wishes and suggest suitable travel packages or services
Strong negotiating skills, decision-making capabilities, resourcefulness to conduct independent research and gather information to fully understand your market and strong analytical skills
Use promotional techniques and prepare promotional materials to sell itinerary tour packages
Attend conferences to maintain familiarity with tourism trends
Create and update electronic records of clients and maintain relationships with key persons
Creative ways to increase guest satisfaction, while increasing revenue.

Studying competitors’ products and services
Exploring ways of improving existing products and services, and increasing profitability
Identifying target markets and developing strategies to communicate with them.
Writing and proof reading copy for emails, blogs, user guides, websites, news feeds and any other ad-hoc requirements
Prepare monthly reports on ad negotiations and placements, basic inquiry data and creative initiatives. Keep updated advertising history files and
archives ad materials. Collect necessary and pertinent travel research and reports findings.

Other duties as assigned
Excellent verbal and written communication/presentation skills; bilingual a plus
Established contacts in Receptive operators, Domestic and International operators, Cruise lines and travel agencies required
Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize
Excellent time-management skills and ability to delegate and handle multiple priorities
Self-Motivated and results oriented
