Job Description

Job Title: Competence Development Coordinator

Key Performance Areas

• Identify knowledge (theory) and skills (practical/application) gaps in work
• Develop/maintain a training/coaching schedule to close the gaps i.e. communicate and get sign off
• Schedule required knowledge training with internal and /or external trainers
• Schedule required Skills coaching with internal and /or external coaches
• Perform high level, technical skills coaching
• Implement and sustain the continuous coaching philosophy (process)
• Continuously moderate the process to ensure quality
• Produce/update and communicate regular progress reports
• Drive continuous assessment and improvement behavior in trainers

Your Profile and Qualification

• Trade qualification or Certificate/Diploma in Coaching/Facilitating/Assessor/Moderator/ Project Management qualification or Supervisory/management Certificate
• Should have relevant equipment training
• Capable in training/assessment material development
• Must have done the Relevant equipment test
• Computer literate.
• Coaching skills
• Good attitude behavior.
• Be abreast with Safety issues or have underground medical fitness certificate
• Should have a Driver’s license.
• At least 3-5 years’ technical experience on relevant equipment.
• Should have 2 years or more Education Training and Development experience in a senior or supervisory/management capacity.
• Should be able to design, develop and/or implement training projects
• Must possess Drivers’ License E

Relationship and Authority 

You will report directly to the Business Line Manager – Parts/Service SA West Africa

Special Requirements

This position is available in Pakyi-Kumasi, GhanaSuccessful applicants would be required to work at Sandvik sites in Ghana and other West African Countries.
