This position is responsible for Service Desk /Help Desk Support Management. The position holder assists the Finance Manager in the implementation of group IT policies and strategies and to ensure compliance of users of IT services has adhered to all the time.
Job Title: IT SUPPORT OFFICER
Key Performance Areas:
·Service Desk /Help Desk Support Management where USD shall be used as the logging Management System
·Maintenance and Servicing of Laptop and Desktop Computers
·SNC Platform Support and Management for End Users
·Responsible for providing support to end-users by installing software releases, system upgrades, evaluate and install patches and resolves software related problems.
·Lotus Notes applications support (replication, database links, archiving), and printer/peripheral connectivity issues.
·Support problems such as PCs remotely, network connectivity, and internet connectivity.
·Responsible for troubleshooting following standard operating procedures and work with emails and phone calls on a priority basis.
·Incident and Request Support for end Users
·Microsoft exchange (outlook mail) support
·Backup Management/service Support and its related Databases and Applications
·SQL and Windows 2012 Server Support
·Support for Video/Audio Conference Services
·First Line support for Network Infrastructure
Your Profile and Qualification:
•Minimum of 1stDegree or HND in Information Technology/Electronic Studies or Computer Science
•Must have completed National Service and at least 2 years’ experience in similar role.
•ITIL and CISCO certification (CCNA) will be an added advantage
Relationship and Authority:
Reports to the IT Coordinator
This position is available at PakyiNo. 1, Kumasi-Ghana
Successful applicants would be required to work at Sandvik sites in Ghana and other West African Countries.
