Job Description

Job Title: Head Of Corporate Communications, Sales And Marketing

Job Purpose

The position reports to the Chief Executive Officer and serves as a member of the Senior Management Team. The position is responsible for planning, developing and implementing the Institution’s marketing, Sales & communication strategies to drive sustainable financial growth that will
boost sales and build strong relationships with clients.

Key Responsibilities include but not limited to the following:

Develop a sales strategy focusing on both financial gain and customer satisfaction that will translate into growth in profitability of the institution.
Build the Sales and Relationship team into strong sales Team.
Promote the company’s products/services, addressing or predicting clients’ objectives.
Explore marketing opportunities by identifying customer requirements, defining market, competitor’s share, and competitor’s strengths and weaknesses and establishing targeted market
share.
Develop a plan that will improve product marketability by researching, identifying and capitalizing on market opportunities.
Sustains rapport with key accounts holders and customers by making periodic visits; exploring specific needs and anticipating new opportunities with prospective clients.
Responsible for creating, implementing and measuring the success of a comprehensive marketing, communications and public relations program that will enhance the Organization’s image and position within the marketplace.
Responsible for communications and public relations activities and materials including publications, media relations and client acquisition.

Required Skills or Experience

Master’s degree in Marketing, Public Relations, Business Administration, Banking and Finance, Economics or any other related field.
Minimum of 5-7 years experience in Business Development, Sales, Marketing, Communications or Public Relations in a similar industry with
demonstrated success.
A minimum of 2 years in Senior or Middle level Management role.
Demonstrable experience in effective leadership and people management skills
High energy level with strong negotiation and prospecting skills.
Strong creative, strategic, analytical, organizational and personal sales skills.

Ability to meet sales targets and must have proven sales track record.
The candidate must possess solid verbal and written communication skills.
Demonstrated skills, knowledge and experience in the design and execution of marketing, communications and public relations activities.
Demonstrated successful experience writing press releases, making presentations and relating with the media.
