One of the operating companies of SBW International BV, a Dutch international group with a vast experience in this field and subsidiaries in different parts of the world. A dedicated and professional staff of 100 persons works daily within optimal environmental conditions necessary to enable these types of specialized activities. Cleanliness and tidiness are basic, humidity and temperature control daily routine. All to assure a contamination free laboratory.

Our process oriented ‘control department’ (nothing to do with financial administration), with ten colleagues, is at the heart of this operation. Planning the workflow, checking the input, monitoring progress, registering output and storing the plants in our multiple temperature controlled cells. Tailor made software can track & trace the plants throughout the whole process. Furthermore the control department monitors plant development after cutting and keeps laboratory management informed about the status of millions of stored cultures.

SBW Ghana Ltd. Is looking for a new colleague in our control department, who has the ambition to learn and grow within and with the company. You will be trained ‘on the job’ for a period of about six months.
Willingness to learn about the full scope of activities in the Control Department and invest yourself, which will involve from the start checking of status of stored cultures every week,
Assist in various areas of the ongoing production process,
Checking executed production orders and monitor stock mutations in our InvitroSoft program,
Periodic stock taking of cultures,
Become over time responsible for stock management.

Required Skills or Experience

Dedicated, smart, ambitious and positive working attitude,
Diploma/Certificate in Agricultural Science from any Agric. College is very welcome, but smart people come from every kind of school,
Not less than three years working experience,
Very good quantative skills and analytical mind,
Computer literate, MS Office, especially Excel,
Be located at or living in the vicinity of Sogakope,
Easy communicator, capable to adjust to an international environment in which directness of communication and initiative is appreciated.
