A leading non-banking financial services company regulated by the Bank of Ghana is seeking the services of a Managing Director.

Job Title: Managing Director

Job Summary

The successful candidate will be in charge of the overall administration of the company. He/She must understand the needs of the organisation and lead it in line with the mission and vision of the company.

Job Description

• Reports directly to the Board of Directors
• In charge of the overall management and operations of the organisation
• Lead in the development, execution and evaluation of the internal controls systems and management information systems of the institution
• Develop and oversee the implementation, monitoring and evaluation of relevant operating policies in line with the broad corporate directives
• Ensure strict compliance with all relevant laws and regulations relating to the financial and non-banking industry
• Ensure sound organisational plan, management development and succession, competitive position in the industry
• Ensure regular and credible reporting to the Board and all regulatory bodies

Qualification Required & Experience

• At least a First Degree in Business Administraition, Banking, Finance, Commerce, Management or other relevant areas
• Professional certification and good standing in the professional association will be an advantage
• A Masters Degree or other advanced academic degrees may be an advantage

Other Qualifications and Requirements

• At least an overall of 8 to 10 years of banking experience in various roles of which 5 to 6 years should be in management positions.
• Demonstrate leadership, critical and strategic thinking, innovation entrepreneurial and business acumen, sound financial and operational analysis skills
• Advanced computer skills in Word, Excel and other relevant software programmes
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• No civil or criminal record of any offence involving fraud, dishonesty or moral turpitude
• The successful candidate must be approved by Bank of Ghana
