For more than 25 years, Deloitte’s Emerging Market practice has worked with governments, donor agencies, NGO’s and private firms in over 60 countries to build the institutions, legal framework, and policies required for effective public and private sector growth
Deloitte is currently seeking short and long-term local and international senior advisors for role in Ghana aligned to the Power Africa Initiative, for both existing work and work that is under development for diverse clients such as USAID, MCC, World Bank and others

Job Description

Job Title: Recommended Jobs 

Skills Sought:

Overall power sector market reform including the unbundling of utilities, creation of independent regulators, and the creation of competitive energy markets Legal, policy & regulatory advisory including tariffs, sector reform and utility restructuring
Energy sector investment and transaction advisory
Off-grid market development and expansion
Upstream and midstream oil and gas development
Institutional training and capacity building



7+ years of experience in one or more of the above fields
5+ years of experience consulting to public and private sector counterparts, including past experience working on donor-funded projects
Advanced degree in energy-related engineering, policy, business, finance, economics, or related field
Technical experience in Africa required, previous technical experience in Ghana strongly preferred
Fluency in spoken and written English with strong oral and written presentation skills

Other Expectations

Ability to reside in and travel throughout Ghana, sometimes on short notice
