Responsible for the Planning, Monitoring, Co-ordination, Supervision and Control of all operational activities under Fumigation, Agri Inspections, GIS and Weighbridge business portfolios.
Job Title: Business Development Manager
Development and implementation of Business Plans and Business Level Strategy for all departments under his responsibility
Responsible for the profitable growth of the departments under his control
Responsible for the proper management of the operational expenses and revenue growth for the departments.
Responsible for the Procurement, Management and Control of all operational logistics for the departments including security papers.
Responsible for all the Business development , Marketing and Sales Activities of the departments
Responsible for the preparation and proper implementation of the budgets for all the departments to achieve set targets.
Preparation and presentation of monthly reports and other Management and Operational Reports as may be required
Responsible for the approval and issuance of all Reports, Certificates and Invoices on all executed jobs for the departments under his purview
Responsible for the Quality Service Delivery of the Business Units
Responsible for the Training and development of all staff under his department for the development of their knowledge and skill for effective professional service delivery with the assistance of the Human Resource Department
Responsible for the Management of the departments Administrative and Personnel issues with the support of Human Resource Department
Responsible for the maintenance of staff discipline as well as staff compliance to the administrative and operational procedures, code of discipline and conduct.
Oversight responsibility for the back office activities
Minimum First Degree in Agricultural Science
MBA an added advantage at least 4 years Management skills including experience in Power Point presentation, Business development and Budget preparation skills.
Strong Financial Analytic skills
Strategic Management and Sales and Marketing skills.
Good Analytical, Quantitative ad Verbal aptitude skills.
Ability to consistently meet KPI
Ability to understand and use marketing strategies and performance assessment techniques
Ability to understand SGS corporate systems, procedures and policies
Ability to examine possibilities for improving financial management and reporting procedure for laboratory’s and associated operations.
Ability to manage Agric and fumigation operations
