Our client is an Exploration and Production (E&P) company, with it’s headquarters in Ghana. Our client is currently carrying out an evaluation of existing discoveries and exploration operations offshore Ghana. The company is seeking to fill the following position

Job Description

Job Title: Geophycisist

Role and Responsibility

•   Provide seismic interpretation input to project work
•   Perform detailed synthetics to well ties
•   Provide velocity models and perform time to depth conversion of seismic interpretation
•   Provide rosk physics analysis and input to inversion projects
•   Provide attibute, AVO and seismic facies analysis
•   Understake geophysical studies, including seismic and potential field data
•   Play a role in ongoing & future field development / infill planning studies
•   Provide geophysical support in well interpretation / well planning / production development as required
•   Provide seismic interpretations for geo-modelling studies and reservoir volumetric assessments.

Qualification Required & Experience

•   MSc in Geology / Geophysics is essential
•   5+ years experience in the oil and gas industry, working as an Exploration Geophysicist or Geologist with an operating or service company
•   Familiarity with industry standard seismic interpretation software
•   Excellent technical computer skills is required
•   Fluency of written and spoken English language is required
