Stanbic Bank Ghana is looking to recruit a dynamic, experienced and results-oriented person to fill the position of Relationship Manager within our Corporate and Investment Banking Unit.

The Role:
The successful candidate will build internal and external business relationships to grow and develop a portfolio of clients and generate sustained revenue growth for the Bank. The role requires the successful candidate to work with colleagues globally to develop banking and other products, thus ensuring a holistic service offering to clients.

Key Responsibilities:

• Implement a successful corporate banking strategy to maximise client profitability
• Develop and nurture strategic relationships with clients to ensure that the strategies and business objectives of clients and the Bank are achieved
• Identify and provide solutions to clients
• Engage credit team and develop a sound asset portfolio through deal structuring and execution
• Develop and build a competitive, client-oriented sales portfolio and respond to the Corporate and Investment Banking needs of clients
• Identify and manage the major risk factors that impact clients and expose the bank to undue risk
• Ensure that the bank meets its clients’ expectations of access to cost efficient financing and consistent service standards

Remuneration: Negotiable according to experience, knowledge and skills

Required Skills or Experience

• A postgraduate degree in Finance, Management, Accounting or related disciplines
• Prior experience in Corporate Relationship Management is preferable
• Experience in a credit environment will be an added advantage
• Experience in Branch Banking Operations
• Conceptual understanding of business strategy and how its successful application can lead to market success
• In-depth understanding of financial markets and an appreciation of the entire range of products and services available to meet the needs of corporate organisations
