Job Title: Manager, Trade Finance

Job Details

PBB Transactional ProductsJob PurposeTo harness and maximize existing and new business opportunity for Trade Finance in the Business Banking space for the country.Drive Trade

Drive Trade finance business within the Business Banking category for the bank throughout the entire bank’s network of branches and direct Trade Finance product staff.

Key Responsibilities/Accountabilities

Drive Trade Finance sales across the entire Business Banking network
Relate with Regional Managers, Business Managers & Business Bankers to achieve Trade Finance sales.
Facilitate the processing of Business Banking Trade Finance Product Papers and applications by liaising with Credit and all the relevant Support teams.
Facilitate the booking of Business Banking Trade Finance transactions
Assist to resolve Trade Finance issues in Business Banking across the network
Facilitate the bank’s Trade Finance business in the Business Banking segment in the bank.
Acquire market information and develop appropriate sales strategies for the product in the Business Banking space.
Develop and feature in special events to support the product awareness and sales goals.
Report to the Head, Transactional Products on Trade Finance business within the business banking network.

Preferred Qualification And Experience

Relevant business related tertiary qualification is a pre-requisite

Post-graduate studies e.g. MBA is an advantage

Knowledge/Technical Skills/Expertise

Not less than 5 years of postgraduate experience with minimum 2 years in management positions in commercial banking management in finance
industry.
Strong numerical skills and financial acumen to analyse evaluate and identify trends in the Trade Finance segment.
Retail Product development
Computer literacy, sales skills, credit analysis and evaluation skills.
Leadership skills.
Sales and marketing skills
Financial analysis
Presentation skills
Negotiation skills
