Job Title: CDD Analyst
Responsibilities
- Perform eCDD of SME New to bank customers on-boarding by;
Customer Due Diligence (CDD) over eCDD System for SME New to Bank customers.Analyze
- Analyze CDD done by Frontline staff and eCDD and highlight any discrepancies.Review
- Review and upload Account Opening forms and all other mandatory/supporting documents required for account opening
on to the eCDD system (0% tolerance)Ensure
- Ensure to keep CASA error rate within an acceptable range.
- Ensure smooth CST within an acceptable range.Ensure
fast TAT in executing the eCDDs.
Key Roles and Responsibilities
- To ensure activities are carried out with the maximum efficiency, security & controls & that service is provided to both internal & external customers in accordance with agreed service standards.
- Design and suggest action plans for early closure of service issues & continuous process improvements in order to enhance both processing efficiency and operational controls within CDD Operations Unit.
- Ensure compliance of AML, CDD policies & procedures in accordance with Group and Local Regulatory guidelines.
- Highlight to Frontline staff if there are any discrepancies regarding eCDD and Manual CDD.
- Ensures that quality work performed during performance of New to bank reviews
- Retrieve cases assigned to job holder and keep productivity log updated of completion status.
- Retrieve data from multiple system or hard copy sources and capture them within the eCDD system.
- To capture accurate CDD information/ documents into eCDD and other required systems.
- Review data consistency across various documents and system data according to preset guidelines.
- All work must be completed in strict adherence to operating manuals without deviations.
- To ensure CDD documents fulfill AML/ CDD Procedures and local requirements for proper AML/CDD control. .
- To effectively interact, communicate & engage with all stakeholders i.e. CDD Advisor, CMLCO, Branch/RM, ASU, Group FCC, AML, UORMs etc to
achieve the objectives of the unit.
- Ensure changes in processes are suggested after due discussions with all stakeholders or changes advised through email time to time.
- Tracking & closure of all pending items with respective RM/BM/CMLCO/CDD Advisor including PEPs etc
- Ensures that all stakeholders are updated on the sources of errors and problems (if any), and any outstanding issues which remain outstanding despite efforts so that appropriate action can be taken.
- Ensure that all service standards are maintained by the staff keeping the bank’s integrity in mind.
