Job Description

Job Title: Dispatch Rider

Job Summary:

Pick up and deliver documents or parcels between companies by applying knowledge of commercial riding regulations on the road. As a courier, you will be responsible for riding to and from designated locations, maintaining records of duty status according to our regulations and also ensuring that documents or parcels are delivered in a professional, cost effective and appropriate manner aiming at increasing profitability and customer satisfaction.

Job Duties:

Inspect motor bike for defects and safe operating condition before, during and after work and submit a written report on the condition of the motor bike at the end of each day.
Operate the motor bike in a safe and effective manner in order to minimize the risk of injury, property damage or loss of life.
Apply knowledge of commercial riding skills in maneuvering motor bike at varying speeds in difficult situations, such as heavy traffic and must also be able to operate it in any weather condition.
Ensure address on package matches up to the delivery address.
Assist with sales and marketing efforts.
Maintain logs of documents/parcels delivered.
Ask for feedback on provided services and resolve clients’ complaints.
Analyze delivery address, determine appropriate routes and maintain the schedule.
Sort items to be delivered according to the delivery route.
Check back with the office after completed deliveries, in order to confirm deliveries, collections and to receive instructions for other deliveries.
Provide special care in delivering a fragile and hazardous product.
Work with support team to provide exceptional customer services and address customer concerns.
Promptly report any delays due to breakdowns or other emergencies or in the event of irregularities relating to pickup or delivery.
Perform all duties in accordance with company policies and procedures, and comply with all state and local regulations for a safe operation.
