Job Description

Job Title: Installation Analysis Engineer

Job Location

Responsibilities

Reporting to the Head of Engineering, the Installation Analysis Engineer will perform riser configuration design analysis and subsea installation engineering analysis mainly related to the flexible pipeline and umbilical installation techniques, subsea structures lift and deployment to seabed. S(he) will also support the technical objectives of subsea and/or pipeline project management teams and design and analyze in compliance with the established design rules and procedures within the business management system.

• Perform Static and Dynamic analyses of risers and flow lines systems (rigid, flexible, umbilical)
• Perform Static and Dynamic Analyses for various subsea structures and equipment such as PLEMs, PLETs, suction piles, spools, jumpers and others
• Provide support to on-going offshore installation activities even in offshore campaigns if needed
• Write technical project documents;
• Perform peer review and checks of installation analysis work and reports
• Liaise with project teams to obtain input data, agreeing installation feasibility and providing technical support in client reviews;
• Liaise with project teams and clients to clarify installation analysis concerns;
• Collaborate to develop and constantly improve tools and internal processes for installation analysis activities;
• Mentor and nurture trainees and graduates as well as others when applicable;
• Manage internal study projects as assigned

Requirements

• A minimum of first degree in any engineering field.
• At least 2 years of experience in installation analysis related activities;
• Very good knowledge of design and analysis software (i.e. ORCAFLEX) is essential
