Job Description

Job Title: Factory Supervisor

Role Summary:

• Must be competent and comprehend complex operations. He should also be able to optimize day-to-day activities while minimizing the costs.
• The goal is to ensure that the production line processes deliver products of maximum quality in a profitable manner.

Responsibilities:

Your duties would include (but are not limited to) as outlined below

• Monitor the production lines to ensure that it complies with the quality and safety standards of the company.
• Recommend improvements in quality processes and production procedures and equipment.
• Provide proper trainings to staffs on their job duties.
• Ensure each staff meets the assigned production targets daily.
• Coordinate productions startups, and line staff changeovers.
• Manage proper staffing level daily by checking sick leaves, forecasted employee vacations and unanticipated absences.
• Conduct shift meetings to ensure that staffs understand daily objectives and output requirements.
• Follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) for operational efficiency.
• Coordinate with Management to address issues and safety concerns immediately.
• Build safe, clean and positive working atmosphere.
• Prepare daily production reports that will include output quality and quantity.

Qualification and Requirements

• Approximately 1-3 years of experience.
• Minimum of HND in a Technical or Engineering field is preferred.
• Organizational and leadership abilities.
• Proven experience in a similar role is required.
